Abstract: The concept of social investment refers to the links and connections between members of a network as a valuable source and by creating norms and mutual trust will lead to achieving the goals of the members. Given the importance of knowledge management in organizations,in seeking to achieve a better understanding of the factors affecting the proper implementation of this strategy. The aim of this study was to investigate the role of the social investment in maturity of knowledge management in National Iranian Drilling Company. The present study that is descriptive in the collection and processing of data includes 70 employees of the National Drilling Company as the sample of which on the basis of the limited population and sampling error at 50/0, 153 subjects were selected. Data collected by the use of two researcher made questionnaires includes social investment questionnaire was approved by Cornbrash’s alpha coefficient. To analyze the data in this study, regression analysis, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis was used for the identification of latent variables and correlation analysis to test the research hypothesis. In this study, the relationship between social wealth and maturity of knowledge management model based on meteorites consists of four main areas of cognitive capabilities, guidance, values and to estimate the consequences were examined. The result of the data analysis shows that there is a connection between social investment with cognitive capabilities, guidance and the estimated value of consequences.
