Abstract: Nowadays establishment of the information systems such as decision support system (DSS) as a supporting factor is necessary for the top management of the organization. This study aimed to participate in developing decision system by feasibility study of establishment of the decision support system (DSS) in the teaching and private hospitals in Ahvaz, Iran from point of view of Managers. In this cross sectional study, the main instrument for data gathering is a list of 51-questions that evaluates the feasibility of DSS implementation from point of view of Managers in Ahvaz teaching and private hospitals. The feasibility of DSS implementation from operational administrative aspects got the mean score 3.95 over 5; also from a human resource perspective and the economic dimensions got the score 3 and 3.55 out of 5, respectively. Moreover, The score 3.38 has been achieved from technical perspective. Considering to current software and hardware also enough financial resources for implementation of decision support system, it is recommended that training courses about concepts and applications of DSS should be introduced to decrease the resistance of users and increase the management support.
