Abstract: Landscape design applications including existing values in the design process in order to satisfy human and environmental requirements are carried out so that this article looks at it as landscape design with the natural and manmade elements, even though the fundamental thought layers related to humans as the basis of environmental design has been forgotten. The human oriented municipal knowledge intends to satisfy living, health, psychological, social and cultural needs of humans and landscape design and it considers all these cases depending on the design. This study tries to inspect and analyze the current landscape design process based on educational and research documents and considering the design goals of human oriented designs acknowledging according to the humanistic and environmental gauges. As the result, the human oriented landscape design is defined according to and considering the moral and societal values regarding the humans and environment and psychological functions and environmental factors.
